Here artists gather from many areas of the Kimberley to work and make cultural artefacts. The space is a fine art gallery, specialty store and studio for artists. NORVAL GALLERY Find Indigenous art from across the Kimberley at this gallery in Derby. The space exudes character and you won’t be stuck for choice – there’s plenty of art and artists to choose from. Gallery owner, Mark Norval is an artist himself and responsible for some of the sculptures you'll find on the marsh. BLAK TAPAS Tamali and her team plate up glamourous looking, unpretentious, delicious, bush- inspired tapas at various locations in and around Kununurra. The best place to catch them is at the annual Ord Valley Muster, however they do regular pop-ups, catering, weddings and events too. SALTY PLUM SOCIAL Walking tours around Broome. COSSACK ART GALLERY Home to one of Australia’s richest art awards and set among what’s believed to be a ghost town, the Cossack Art Gallery is a must-see destination. There you’ll find a wide selection of local Indigenous art, wares, handmade products and books. HOOCHERY DISTILLERY Visit this charming distillery to learn the story of ‘Spike’ and the evolution of WA’s oldest operating still. Self- proclaimed 'labour intensive and inefficient', you know you’re getting a tasty drop served with a smile at Hoochery. Follow your curiosity and be rewarded with tasty, tropical, hand made booze. YARLIYIL ART CENTRE On the Great Northern Highway in Halls Creek, find yourself at Yarliyil. The Aboriginal-owned enterprise has more than 100 artist members that practice art in a wide range of styles and mediums. Artists attend the centre daily to paint and express stories of history, people, the country and cultural connection.
